It is critical that as many ASOS members as possible attend this AGM or send their proxy. Below are the details:

  1. AGM Venue: Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (Merivale St entrance),
  2. Tuesday, 15th of October 2024 at the AOA ASM
  3. Room M1 – following medicolegal session in your scientific programme
  4. 12:00 pm Brisbane time (during lunch time)
  5. Zoom link will be sent to all members
  6. If you cannot attend, please send proxy attached or email your proxy to: Stephen@milgate.net
  7. Matters on the agenda include:
  • Financial report and future direction
  • MBA plans to fast track overseas trained specialists (SMIGs)
  • Public-in-Private Hospital arrangements
  • Federal government enquiry into the viability of private hospitals
  • Updating ASOS constitution
  • CPD options for members
