The Spine Society of Australia have been closely monitoring and the impact on the upcoming Annual Scientific Meeting, scheduled for 9-11 April. We recognise the value of seeing everyone together and the importance of networking in person and are therefore committed to conducting a face to face conference.

Owing to the continued uncertainty surrounding state border closures and restrictions, the Spine Society of Australia Board have decided to postpone the 32nd Annual Scientific Meeting to later in the year in order to give the best chance for us to proceed with a face to face format, and achieve the maximum benefit to our attendees and valued sponsors and exhibitors.

We remain excited to hold the conference at the ICC, Sydney, later this year from 26-28 November. Having spent the past year preparing for the conference we are eager to ensure it goes ahead in a format conducive to networking and knowledge sharing, which are fundamental components of the society and its supporters, whilst also ensuring we are able to meet safely.

SSA is proud to promote the exchange of scientific knowledge and strengthen friendships amongst those who work in the complex and challenging field of spinal disorders.

We thank you for your support of this decision and look forward to seeing you in Sydney.
